Engaging in Ethical and Effective Service

Social ventures, protests, volunteer work, and other public service activities have the potential to drive change and provide rich learning opportunities, but they can also inflict unintended harm. In this workshop, students will reflect on their experiences in light of the Principles of Ethical and Effective Service, a framework for planning service initiatives that benefit the community and enhance student learning without breaches of trust and respect.
