Join this dinner buffet and conversation with Southern New Hampshire University’s President Paul LeBlanc and theoretical neuroscientist Vivienne Ming about accessing education and redefining human value in the age of technology.
Southern New Hampshire University broke ground with the first direct assessment competency-based program approved by the U.S. Department of Education. SNHU President Paul LeBlanc will share a vision for a new higher education ecosystem, and share the design of the program and how they are using it to serve marginalized learners, including homeless students, DACA students, and refugee populations.
Theoretical neuroscientist and technologist Vivienne Ming researches human potential. Her research suggests that the skills we traditionally value are not those that will best serve people and their societies going forward. Vivienne will explore what skills play an important role in maximizing a person’s potential and how we can begin developing these skills in the next generation.
