Becoming a Scholar Activist

Would you like to connect your academic and service interests by developing skills as a public scholar or community-based researcher? In this workshop, Dr. Clayton Hurd and a panel of students will share examples of how students can collaborate with community organizations and faculty mentors to address community problems and effect social change. You will also learn more about Summer 2018 Community-based Research (CBR) Fellowships and the Public Service Scholars Program offered through the Haas Center for Public Service and the Center for Comparative Studies in Race and Ethnicity.
